Floor Refinishing in Whistler & Squamish

Dustless sanding, stain, and seal — tired, worn hardwood brought back to like-new across the Sea to Sky.

THE WORK

Refinishing, with far less mess

We refinish hardwood with a dustless system — the sanding dust is captured at the source, so there’s far less mess and a cleaner result. The right finish balances looks and durability, and the best choice depends on how the room gets used.

Recoat or refinish?

If the floor is only lightly worn, a recoat may be all it needs — we’ll tell you straight.

Features

Refinishing

When the wood is worn through its finish, we sand it back to bare timber with our dustless system and lay down a fresh stain and seal. It’s the full reset — it erases deep scratches, greying, and old finish, and lets you change the colour.

Features

Recoating

If the floor is only lightly worn and the wood underneath is sound, a recoat is all it needs — we screen the surface and add a fresh top coat. Faster, cheaper, and less disruptive than a full refinish.

FAQ

Most refinishing jobs in Whistler and Squamish take 3–5 days, depending on floor size, the number of coats, and drying time between them.

Refinishing sands the floor back to bare wood before applying new finish — best for deeper wear. Recoating just adds a fresh top coat over a floor that’s only lightly worn.

It captures the vast majority of sanding dust at the source, so there’s far less mess and cleaner air than traditional sanding. A light wipe-down is usually all that’s needed.

It depends on the look and upkeep you want — water-based for low odour and lighter tones, oil-based for warmth and depth, or craft oil for a natural hand-rubbed feel. We’ll talk it through.

Yes. We schedule around guests and tenants where we can, and the durable finishes hold up to heavy ski-season traffic.
